The Windows Registry And The Type Library

Windows has software interfaces in the operating system that are described by a software file called the Type Library.

Types of Type Library

Other types of Type Library include the ones for displaying of font and printed document.  This particular type or font library is found in the systems registry.  When there is a call to display the font, the type library is the one responsible for looking it up in the systems registry and locating the type to be displayed.  However, if the type that the user is looking is not included in the registry, the type library will display the font which is closest to the one being asked for.

Microsoft first introduced an inclusion in the operating system that enables it to retrieve files when it is called by a corresponding program. Check out these registry cleaner reviews: regcure review - registry easy review

The registry was formulated and was used first with Windows 98 Second Edition to accelerate loading of and locating programs in the system.  However, there is a downside in this innovation.  Programs installed may pile up and clutter the registry thus slowing the process of the operating system.  The new improved storage called the registry serves as the repository of settings and configurations.  The Registry hosts some pertinent details on the computers hardware, software, account, preferences of the PC, among others.  Since the Registry is constantly expanding, there is a need to regularly clean the system with a good Windows Registry Cleaner.  Always remember that when purchasing a cleaner, you need to buy that which is compatible with your Windows Operating System- for more effective results.
