Other types of Type Library include the ones for displaying of font and printed document. This particular type or font library is found in the systems registry. When there is a call to display the font, the type library is the one responsible for looking it up in the systems registry and locating the type to be displayed. However, if the type that the user is looking is not included in the registry, the type library will display the font which is closest to the one being asked for.

The registry was formulated and was used first with Windows 98 Second Edition to accelerate loading of and locating programs in the system. However, there is a downside in this innovation.
